The Role
Securities Law/Regulatory/Transactional Securities
Bloomberg is looking for legal analysts with a background as a transactional or regulatory securities law attorney to join its law products group, BLAW. Each legal analyst will develop new legal information products by creating, organizing, and producing innovative current awareness and research products in selected securities law areas. An ability to understand legal issues in and create legal analytical content for one or more of the following practice areas is necessary: Broker-Dealer Regulation; Commodity-Derivatives; Corporate Governance; Disclosure and Reporting; Exchange/SRO Regulation; Investment Management; Market Regulation; Offerings and Registration; and State Blue Sky Law.

Qualifications:
- Law degree from an accredited law school
- Various levels of experience needed
- Excellent editing, legal research, analysis, and writing skills
- Ability to complete assigned research and writing projects by prescribed deadlines
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, detail-oriented environment
- Effective communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal
- Prior law journal or legal writing experience is desirable

The Role
Securities Law/Securities Litigation
Bloomberg is looking for legal analysts with a securities litigation background to join its law products group, BLAW. Each legal analyst will develop new legal information products by creating, organizing, and producing innovative current awareness and research products in the area of securities litigation. Using legal research and writing skills, a legal analyst will create advanced and sophisticated written legal analysis, as well as other products.

Qualifications:
- Law degree from an accredited law school
- Various levels of experience needed
- Court and/or trial experience in the U.S. federal court system necessary
- Excellent editing, legal research, analysis, and writing skills
- Ability to complete assigned research and writing projects by prescribed deadlines
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, detail-oriented environment
- Effective communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal
- Prior law journal or legal writing experience is desirable
