Bloomberg is creating a new information product that will report on, analyze and quantify the impact of government actions on business and industry. We will bring the same unparalleled level of fact-based, objective reporting and analysis to policymaking as it has provided to the financial community for the past 27 years.
The Role
The Product Manager for Multimedia will:
- Lead the initial and ongoing development of multimedia content on government activity
- Identify all relevant multimedia content produced and collected by Bloomberg
- Work with sales, customers, and partners to determine other multimedia content that should be collected and included in offering
- Establish partnerships with outside content developers and distributors
- Develop efficient methods for covering high value events with existing Bloomberg staff or outside resources
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree from a top-tier school
- 2 to 5 years of professional work experience in multimedia production or product development
- Intimate knowledge of sources of Federal Government multimedia content (e.g., agency hearings, committtee meetings, press conferences, etc.)
- Video and audio production experience
- Ability to manage internal and external resources to cover and capture relevant content
- Demonstrable attention to detail and organizational skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate value propositions to leaders in the public and private sectors
- Experience in Healthcare, Energy, Defense, Transportation, or Technology is a plus
- Strong personal initiative, good judgment, and impeccable ethics; desire to succeed in a demanding, innovative, and entrepreneurial environment
- Accustomed to "open door" office setting
