The Role
Bloomberg News seeks an experienced Economy Editor in its Washington DC office. The editor will be responsible primarily for stories about the Federal Reserve and Treasury Department, including monetary policy and regulatory issues. The ideal candidate should have several years of experience editing and managing reporters, and should have a minimum of five years of business editing experience at a major newspaper or wire service. The successful applicant should posses the ability to edit breaking news and feature stories.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of the economy, financial markets, and business
- Minimum of five years of business editing experience at a major newspaper or wire service
