The Role

Bloomberg News seeks an experienced editor to join the finance and banking team in the India Bureau. Candidates should have knowledge of financial markets and proven ability to organise coverage and edit copy in English, including breaking news and features, under tight deadlines. We are looking for a team player, an individual who can add clarity and flair to stories while upholding the uncompromising standards at Bloomberg News. Experience working with junior reporters would also be beneficial.

Qualifications

• Journalism experience is essential
• Experience of working in a real-time news environment in desirable
• Solid understanding of banking and finance markets
• Proven track record editing business stories.
• Ability to coach reporters on sourcing, interviewing and writing.
• A passion for breaking news and innovative story ideas.
