The Role

Bloomberg¿s Facilities Services Department has an open position for a Front of House reception position. The position requires interaction with all visitors to the Washington DC Bloomberg office including clients and high profile visitors. Additional interaction will be with all staff, various management levels within the office, vendors and building landlord. The position requires meeting and greeting all guests and providing guest badges. Additional responsibilities include maintaining mail/shipping and receiving services including but not limited to sending and receiving all mail and packages, maintaining postal machine, distributing magazine stock and conference room supplies, maintaining the mailroom to a high level of organization and neatness and ordering/stocking all office supplies. All mailroom duties require extensive use of the SCHD ticketing system. This position reports to the facilities site management team, will work closely with the onsite facilities site manager and will provide back-up when the site manager is out of the office. Back-up duties include assisting with catering when needed, maintaining FDSK ticketing system and coordinating vendor services when needed with assistance from the team leader and Princeton site management staff. Off-hour support will be needed at times during special events.. The position requires outstanding customer service skills, the ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced / changing environment.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ yrs experience in a corporate environment
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and prioritizing skills
  • Medium level of experience with MS Excel, Project and Word
  • Superior customer service / relationship management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

Preferred Requirements:

Experience with any work ticket system
