The Role:

Bloomberg LP is seeking an editor for our growing series of newsletters. The editor will assist in selecting, editing, and laying out stories in titles ranging from Economics to Mergers. This is a job for someone knowledgeable and passionate about financial news coverage who enjoys doing many different things and isn't rattled by switching back and forth under deadline pressure. The ideal candidate will have proven news judgment, writing and editing abilities; an understanding of the news and data needs of a niche newsletters audience; a demonstrated ability to find and format data that either tells a story on its own or amplifies information in a story; strong Excel skills; and basic knowledge of InCopy/InDesign.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Previous business journalism experience
• Knowledge and a passion for editing and reporting on business and financial news content
• Strong Excel skills are essential with a basic knowledge of InCopy/InDesign
• Proven writing and editing ability in a similar environment is essential
