Description:

  • Bloomberg L.P., a leading worldwide provider of electronic information, is looking for qualified people to join the data division of the law product group.
  • The Legislative Data Analyst will assist in developing, enhancing, and maintaining
  • workflows and data processes primarily in support of electronic legislative and regulatory code products.

  • The candidate will also work closely with other Data Analysts as well as members of the Programming department in order to properly structure and implement critical data sets.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree.
  • 2 or more years work experience in Legislative Content/Data Analysis.
  • Thorough knowledge of the legislative process and code updating (primarily for the U.S. Code and Code of Federal Regulations).
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with key Government contacts.
  • Strong research and project management skills.
  • Prior experience in a data related position, or knowledge of XML is a plus.
