The Role
Bloomberg News seeks an administrative assistant. Responsibilities are wide- ranging and support the executive editor in a multitude of roles and responsibilities, including television, a weekly column and running a large bureau. There is an emphasis on research, fact-checking and editing, as well as handling administrative tasks. During the political year, there will be some travel.
Candidate should thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment, have superior organizational skills, be self-motivating, and possess a strong and proven interest in journalism and politics -- he or she will need to be abreast of current topics to provide the editor with on-demand knowledge.
Qualifications:
