The Trading Solutions (TS) London Trade Order Management Systems (TOMS) team is looking for a C++ developer to work on a varied and challenging product.

Trade Order Management System (TOMS) is an industry-leading, multi-asset class workflow solution for the sell-side community. The TOMS suite provides tools for trade capture, inventory and risk management, electronic order flow, regulatory reporting and compliance, as well as a variety of integration tools in order to achieve straight-through-processing.
The London TOMS team owns a number of business areas within the TOMS product, with the bulk of development focused on exchange-trading tools as well as building out support for cash products within TOMS. As a result, a successful applicant will need to master a steep learning curve and be prepared to work with the variety of technologies used in the Bloomberg environment. Senior developers in TOMS are expected to take ownership of a project for the entire SDLC from requirements gathering to delivery. The day-to-day work will also include maintenance of existing functionality and non-technical activities, such as mentoring juniors. Good communication skills are essential for dealing with internal groups such as QA, Business and other R&D teams, as well as when meeting clients for research and roll-out.
