The Role:

Bloomberg TOMS is looking for highly motivated individuals with a strong passion for finance and technology to join our Tradedesk supporting our ETOMS product suite, including connectivity to Brokers, ATS's and Bloomberg's FIT platforms. The ETOMS Tradedesk Representative will be part of a global team responsible for providing a first class level of support to our clients by providing timely and accurate responses to any inbound client inquiry. This individual will be part of a team responsible for day-to-day support of the ETOMS product suite. This team answers a range of queries from our sell-side customers on trade related issues, usage of the platform, as well as investigating issues raised by internal colleagues.

Electronic Trade Order Management Solutions (ETOMS) provides sell-side fixed income firms with connectivity to electronic markets and a suite of trading tools to optimize your electronic trading workflow. ETOMS supports increased client flow and provides automated multi-asset electronic trading solutions. Delivered as a hosted solution, ETOMS seamlessly integrates with TOMS front-end workflows through an enhanced Bloomberg User Interface, optimized for trader price taking and market making.

Responsibilities include:

• Ongoing Fixed Income Electronic Trade Support through several channels, including Bloomberg IB chat, telephone, email and internal ticketing system.
• Responsible for providing technical support in the areas of Integration, STP and Connectivity to execution venues to our expanding ETOMS client base
• Troubleshooting FIX feeds and Derivatives counterparty connectivity (Markitwire/LCH/ICE/CME)
• Customer on-boarding and configuration of trading enablement
• Taking ownership of, investigating and resolving ETOMS related issues, including trade related and connectivity related inquiries
• Gaining thorough knowledge of Bloomberg's Fixed Income Electronic Trading Platform and comfort in explaining usage to customers
• Establishing credibility and confidence in each customer interaction to ensure the highest level of customer service
• Close collaboration with Sales, Business Managers and R&D.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of industry standard FIX Protocol is mandatory
• 3+ years of experience in the support of fixed income trading life-cycle, such as middle office or client service, or in retail investment support.
• Fixed Income market knowledge across cash and derivative instruments
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills with a customer-focused attitude
• Experience with multiple vendors and Central Counterparties (Markitwire/LCH/ICE/CME) a plus
