The Role:

We are looking for a developer to support and enhance our embedded Linux and RTOS platforms. Here you will have the unique opportunity to participate in the design, development, test and integration of Bloomberg's next generation of RTOS.

Qualifications:

• 5 years+ C knowledge, C++ desirable
• Strong general knowledge of device drivers, kernels (Linux, eCos, VxWorks, etc.) and bare metal bring up of ARM/x86/MIPS platforms
• Familiarity with the GNU tool chains is required
• Some assembly language knowledge is expected
• Some hardware knowledge, such as the ability to read schematics and understand PCB layout is extremely desirable
• Strong background in security & cryptography would also be considered a big plus
