The Role

We are seeking articulate, highly motivated, detail-oriented people to join the Global Data's Pricing, Research & Contracts department in Mumbai on contract basis.

The team is responsible for the integration and maintenance of pricing data for all OTC products to ensure that the information is fast, reliable, and accessible across the Bloomberg platform. Your work will include ensuring quality and timely prices to be procured and made available to our customers in many areas, including Money Markets, Foreign Exchange and Fixed Income.

Responsibilities will include inputting OTC pricing content onto the system, constant liaising with existing pricing and research contributors, providing technical support, maintaining the data to meet market standards, and performing data quality checks on the Bloomberg System to ensure pricing updates are accurate and consistent with the markets. You will also work closely with various departments like Sales, Trading Systems, Electronic Trading, Programming/Network, & Data to ensure that the pricing is fast, reliable, and accessible across the Bloomberg platform. Excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task, strong PC and technical aptitude and a keen interest in the financial markets are essential.

Qualifications:

• Fluency in English, with one local language skill is a plus
• Excellent communication, customer service and account management skills
• Technical interest and aptitude with strong PC skills specifically with excel is required
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, team environment
• Must be organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask
• Bachelor degree in finance / business or related disciplines/or equivalent work experience
• Previous experience in client facing / customer service role and network knowledge will be an added advantage
• International experience preferred
