Front End Developer - Environmental Media (Contract)

Bloomberg has many environmental media initiatives around the globe. We're looking for a multimedia generalist who is passionate for design, technology and data. Primary responsibilities include creating and managing content for metric dashboards, lobby installations, and other external installations. This person should like to work on a team, be quick to understand new technologies, and comfortable working with a variety of specifications.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Use html5, CSS, and Javascript to create metric dashboards
- Revise, renew, and evolve current designs
- Integrate date and design
- Trouble front-end date issues
- Schedule and manage content using CMS
Requirements:
- Deeply familiar and passionate about digital signage concepts, practices and software
- Experience creating data-driven content or data visualization
- Expert with HTML5
- Expert eye for design and typography
- Proficient with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledgeable about video and graphic formats/compression
- Expert knowledge of Scala Designer and Content Manager preferred
- Familiarity with API
- Excellent communication and people skills
