The Role:

Bloomberg's Trading System Gateway group is looking for a strong .NET developer for its turnkey client server platform to integrate real-time and batch data with client infrastructures. The role involves sophisticated UI components, high-throughput/low latency servers, in a fault-tolerant environment. The position involves building sophisticated UI components, powerful data transformations and network communication modules. Future development may include building integration endpoints, improving network utilization, better failover support, etc.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have experience in C#, .NET and very strong technical foundation.
• Strong foundations of datastructures/algorithms/architecture
• Experience designing and writing quality multithreaded applications
• Strong OOD/OOP skills, and experience applying modern design patterns.
• Experience designing protocols for correctness, robustness, and performance
• Experience with UI frameworks / usability / event driven programming
• Experience using databases, messaging systems, webservices, etc
• Understanding of security risks is a plus
