The Role

We are currently looking for a qualified professional to join our growing market specialist group in London. Applicants should possess a deep body of knowledge and experience in the Equity financial markets. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter, comfortable in a demanding and client-driven environment and have both strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment.

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-level analytical expertise to clients, our sales force, and product developers.
• Directly impacting company revenue by working with the sales floor to meet prospective clients in the Equity space and assist in high level positioning of our Equity product and selling Bloomberg terminals.
• Influencing the direction of our product by providing feedback to Bloomberg's business managers on user demand, market practices and product enhancements
• Furthering the knowledge of our sales force through intensive internal training and seminars.
• Building a community of Bloomberg users within the Equity market space and co-ordinating and speaking at events and focus days to position Bloomberg's product in the context of new market trends/regulations.
• Educate clients by presenting at local and regional seminars, professional market events and industry conferences.
• Discuss Equity Sales and Trading tools to the target community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience in the Equity financial markets, preferably at sell side institutions.
• Substantial experience in and/or knowledge of the Equity Trading and Sales space.
• CFA and/or CPA a plus
• Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
• Exemplary presentation, training and communication skills
• In depth knowledge of the Equity trading space post Mifid a big plus
• Excellent knowledge of Bloomberg functionality for Equity Sales and Trading
