We are currently seeking a Product Manager to join our Equity (dollar and non-dollar) Tradebook team based in New York. In this role, you will lead the development of strategy and functionality for our agency broker dealer. The focus will be on quantitative trading analytics, product functionality to assist traders and the execution of our core business initiatives.
The successful candidate will contribute to developing and marketing the overall strategy of the business and work with key stakeholders to provide innovative electronic trading solutions for buy-side and sell-side Bloomberg and Bloomberg Tradebook users.
Responsibilities will include:
Identifying trends within the buy-side and sell-side electronic trading industry
Working with Clients, Sales, Product Managers, and Developers to design a vision and strategy for building market leading execution tools and quantitative trading analytics
Providing clear specifications and project management for each of the steps, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to specification and that all development milestones are met; in addition to the training of internal and external clients of the intricacies of the product built.
Marketing development releases both internally to sales and externally to clients, designing and managing sales campaigns, collecting and acting on feedback and ensuring metrics are met.
Contributing to the development and implementation of the broader Equity Sales and Trader business strategy, to further Bloomberg Tradebook's market position and increase revenues from equity traders and sales professionals as well as any other clients or prospects.
Providing leadership and direction to overall business, liaising regularly with clients, sales and R&D management to ensure alignment of development with client needs, sales needs and R&D allocation of resource.
Substantial experience and knowledge of global equity market structure
Experience in designing electronic trading platforms with a focus on algorithmic and DMA trading
Working level knowledge of the FIX protocol
Proficient with algorithmic trading concepts
Experience and extensive knowledge of the buy-side equity OMS/EMS/DMA industry
Strong strategic, analytical and problem solving skills
Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously and prioritize in demanding situations
Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude
Advanced interpersonal and teamwork skills
