Bloomberg Quicktake is seeking a Head of Creative Operations to oversee a number of teams supporting video production across the studio. This is someone with both a creative spirit and deep experience in operations. Teams include: Production Management, Booking & Casting, Art & Design, Platforms, Audience Development, and Social Distribution. They will serve as the global video studio’s liaison to the greater Bloomberg operations and infrastructure departments while instituting efficient workflows across both internal and third party software products. This role sits alongside three other department heads, including Production, Reporting and Development, and reports to the head of the QuickTake Studio.


At least 8 years in an operations role in a creative industry, especially digital video distributed over IP networks
Demonstrated ability to streamline workflows across cross-functional teams
Deep knowledge of project management and production best practices
At least 8 years of experience in digital video formats, video editing software, video and audio equipment, social & streaming platforms, and distribution specifications
At least 5 years experience in gathering, aggregating, presenting and interpreting video and social media analytics
Experience managing multiple teams with unique specialties
Highly organized with an ability to be flexible and think in an unexpected way
Strong leadership skills to empower and motivate their teams


Lead the charge in building out the Creative Operations team
Work with department leads to build and hone workflows from development to distribution
Assess and make recommendations on internal and third party software stacks and integrations
Build systems to share assets and information across global teams
Oversee day to day studio operations, campaign delivery, budgets, and distribution
Work to create efficiencies with other production teams in the organization (television, commercial, podcasts, radio)
