The Acquisition Marketing Manager will be responsible for generating demand and driving audience acquisition for Bloomberg Live paid ticketed events. This role will be responsible for the coordination of demand generation campaign initiatives and sales channel maintenance in order to achieve overall business goals and consistent growth, creating tactical sales plans and timelines, developing collateral material and regularly reporting results. This role will work closely with programming, marketing and audience development teams to ensure alignment with overall event goals and target audiences.
 
We’ll trust you to:

  • Support Bloomberg Live audience development and marketing teams across a full range of marketing activities for the purpose of paid audience acquisition, including a focus on leading email marketing campaigns, audience segmentation, automation and analytics.
  • Create strategic audience acquisition plans, compelling messaging and marketing copy to successfully convert audiences across sectors, including promotion of content for the purpose of engagement, lead generation and acquisition.
  • Set overall conference ticket pricing, strategy and audience segmentation in conjunction with the global head of audience development.
  • Produce briefs for marketing creatives, designed for unique channels and audience needs.
  • Create effective messaging for diverse audiences including those in finance, tech, HR and C-level leadership, to communicate conference benefits to prospective audience members and convert ticket sales
  • Manage and execute day-to-day sales campaigns including email and social media marketing, partnership development and direct sales
  • Work in collaboration with the marketing, subscription, audience development and programming teams to develop content-driven sales campaign materials across a variety of channels and platforms that will best achieve business goals
  • Analyze campaign performance and results, adjusting tactics based on effectiveness to drive success within event marketing budgets

You’ll need to have:

  • Proven experience driving sales for events, subscriptions or similar services
  • Experience with strategies and tactics to drive conversion such SEO, programmatic advertising, content marketing and social media marketing
  • A data-driven mindset with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels and departments
  • Experience in the media and entertainment industry a plus
