We are the Performance Optimization team! We are a Center of Excellence within the Procure to Pay organization, collaborating to drive and implement continuous improvement across the  Supplier Lifecycle Management, Sourcing, Contract Management, Procurement, and Accounts Payable processes and organizations. We work closely with leadership and representation from these processes to identify, prioritize, and execute process improvements within and across these teams. We are also a key liaison to the technology teams that support Procure to Pay, partnering to translate ideas into system design and solutions.

We’ll trust you to:

• Perform research on business processes using a variety of tools (industry documentation, stakeholder interviews, quantitative data)
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to diagnose problems, provide insights, and propose process improvements
• Define and develop KPI metrics in collaboration with leadership and SMEs
• Execute and distribute reports with accuracy and speed
• Generate relevant, accurate, easy to understand documentation (swimlane process flows, presentations, info-graphics, etc.) and presentations for variety of audiences including senior management
• Partner with team members to figure out appropriate data to support research questions and business cases
• Consistently keep stakeholders and project team members advised of progress through proactive communications
• Facilitate effective working sessions
• Collaborate with project and change managers to drive the appropriate next steps for projects
• Perform project management or support for various initiatives to optimize processes and enhance our KPI reporting
• Provide day-to-day customer support in a highly professional manner as a representative of the Bloomberg Procure to Pay function to internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Provide overall support to the Performance Optimization team as needed

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree required in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, Math, Sciences or Supply Chain (or a related field of study) or equivalent proven experience
• Proven experience in Accounts Payable
• 5-7 years’ experience in Business Analysis and/or Data Analysis
• Experience with data analysis, KPI/ reporting, dashboard creation (e.g. Tableau/SAP BW/Qlik) and the creation of decision / business cases to support change efforts
• Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
• Demonstrated learning agility (e.g. quick learner)
• Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in driving balanced, positive change
• Self-motivation and a proactive approach to get results
• A flexible approach to handling work, growing in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Strong organization skills and an eye for detail, balanced by an ability to summarize insights and present to/interact with various partners across the organization
• Ability to work independently, solve problems and deal with ambiguity
• Strong proficiency MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• The ability to act as a change agent and challenge the status quo

We’d love to see:

• Experience working in Procure to Pay organizations
• Proven experience in at least one of the following areas: Supplier Lifecycle Management, Contract Management, Procurement
• Experience working in a Scrum environment
• Experience with SAP or other software across the Pay to Pay process (SAP S4/Hana, BW, SRM, CLM, Sourcing), Ariba (SIPM, SRM/MDM), Qlik/Tableau, Microsoft Visio
• Proven experience in at least one of the following areas: Accounts Payable, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Contract Management, Procurement
• Project Management experience
