The world's market leaders in Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities rely on Bloomberg for transparent data, powerful analytics, and seamless execution. Our market leading E-Trading venues and Order Routing Network help our customers discover value, trade, and report with total confidence. We provide guidance to buy-side customers to integrate their Order and Execution Management Systems with Bloomberg via FIX to stage orders and route them to various dealers for execution. We provide guidance to sell-side dealers and brokers to integrate their pricing and trading engines with Bloomberg via FIX to stream prices and complete real time trade negotiation. For post-trade, we also provide guidance to customers who integrate to our FIX and SFTP based workflows for trade reconciliation, allocation, matching, derivative clearing, and trade reporting.

What’s the role?

As a member of the Trading & Execution Implementations team you will be responsible for technical pre-sales and project management delivery. You will support customers from our buy-side, sell-side, and vendor communities with particular focus on their integration needs relating to Foreign Exchange products and services. You will work closely with our Sales team in identifying integration solutions which suit our customers' trading needs, while partnering with various internal teams in building, testing, and delivering these solutions. Regular communication with customers will form an essential part during this process as we thrive to deliver projects efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Customer satisfaction throughout the integration process is paramount to us and how we operate as a team.

You will need to demonstrate deep product knowledge and understanding of the Foreign Exchange market including market participants, technologies, connectivity models, workflows, and regulations. You will feel comfortable to work in a dynamic environment, be able to prioritize requests while managing multiple customer engagements concurrently, be diligent in your work and resilient to challenges, show eagerness in continuously learning about new products, workflows, and technologies, and collaborate with people to achieve maximum success.

The projects you will be involved in will cover various FX asset types (e.g. spot, forward, swap, deposit, options, NDF/NDS), workflows (e.g. order staging, order routing/trading/execution, post trade drop copies), trading models (e.g. stream, RFS, batches, algos), protocols (e.g. FIX, sFTP, Swift), and clients systems (e.g. proprietary, third-party vendor).

We'll trust you to:

  • Provide pre-sales advice to buy-side and sell-side customers and identify the trading and execution solutions which best meet their needs
  • Qualify, prioritize, manage, and deliver projects
  • Ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on time
  • Manage relationship with OMS, EMS, and TMS vendors
  • Continuously learn and develop knowledge of our offerings and services to better serve our customers and their automation needs
  • Work closely with sales, product development, operations, and support teams
  • Travel and visit clients and vendors if needed

You'll need to have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a financial services or financial technology company
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience covering Foreign Exchange markets in an implementation or support role, with a focus on front office related systems and workflows
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working with FIX, includes network/connectivity and application levels
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a project manager with evidence of external stakeholder communications management
  • Customer service focused attitude, able to build and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver against deadlines
  • Strong presentation and communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
  • Bachelor’s degree or degree equivalent qualifications.

We'd love to see:

  • Regulatory knowledge (Dodd Frank, Mifid, Emir)
  • Prior knowledge of Bloomberg execution management systems or trading platforms and experience integrating with them
  • Additional language skills (particularly Mandarin, Korean, Japanese) to support clients across Asia
