Bloomberg Intelligence ("BI") is looking for a U.S. structured product / asset backed security (ABS) strategist to complement its growing fixed income, currency & commodity research business. We are in the process of broadening our footprint, into adjacent asset classes and geographies.
 
The strategist will work closely with the MBS strategist to generate qualitative and quantitative insights on ABS (autos, credit cards, EETC, et al), CMBS, and other structured product markets for Bloomberg’s global user base. Candidates should be strong communicators capable of engaging with clients and collaborating with colleagues across geographies and markets. 

REQUISITE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  •  A minimum of 5 years professional experience covering and / or trading the asset class
  •  Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
  •  Independent thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset
  •  Ability to develop professional and collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues
  •  Familiarity with Bloomberg family of indices
  •  Bachelor's Degree, with CFA designation or MBA preferred
  •  Strong knowledge of the Bloomberg Terminal

Salary Range: 150,000 - 210,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
