Few organizations can keep up with the fast-paced, 24/7 nature of today's media coverage; even fewer can claim to have helped shape it. Bloomberg offers a unique opportunity to produce real-time stories that shape the markets and our world.
Bloomberg News seeks a reporter in its Brasilia office to cover Brazilian politics and economics. In-depth knowledge of the region is essential, as is fluent English and Portuguese. A minimum of three years covering the beat at a major newspaper or wire service is preferred. The reporter will focus on the Brazilian government's executive, legislative and judicial branches. The successful applicant will produce breaking news stories under real-time deadline pressure, contribute regular enterprise pieces, and write stories that are clear and comprehensive.
