The Role
Bloomberg News is seeking a highly motivated, self-starting individual to work in fast-paced, real-time news environment to cover U.S economic indicators in Washington DC. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Excel, and a background in economics, mathematics or finance. Experience covering economic indicators for either a news organization or a financial institution is also a plus. The person in this role will be expected to create to create tables for Bloomberg News in Excel using VBA language. This individual will also work closely with team members globally. In addition, the job also requires maintenance of the database of indicators.
***Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Background in economics, mathematics, or finance
- Fluency in Japanese, Chinese, or German is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
