Bloomberg News seeks a reporter in its New York office to cover the media industry. Responsibilities of the role will include covering some of the biggest companies in the business. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience covering both cable/media and financial news, including corporate earnings. The person in this role must have the ability to break news, while at the same time juggling a stream of daily stories on tight deadlines and longer-term enterprise stories.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of the economy, financial markets, and business
- Minimum of three years of reporting experience
- Experience working in a real-time news environment
