Bloomberg's Application Infrastructure group supplies over 1,500 developers with an environment for rapid application deployment. We provide developers with components, toolkits, and frameworks necessary for writing high-quality, easy-to-use applications and deploying them to production quickly. We are currently seeking a senior software engineer who is experienced in C/C++ API design and has a background with a variety of GUI toolkits to join our team of disciplined and creative developers in evolving our infrastructure arsenal to decrease time to market for front-end application writers.
- 5 + Years in writing object-oriented software using the C++ programming language
- Possess solid understanding of the properties and appropriate use of basic algorithms and data structure
- Experience with multiple GUI toolkits, and proficiency in both UNIX and Windows
- Familiarity with open source GUI toolkits such as GTK and Qt, as well as network programming is desired
