  • Bloomberg L.P., a leading worldwide provider of electronic information, is looking for
  • qualified people to join the data division of the law product group.

  • The Legislative Data Analyst will assist in developing, enhancing, and maintaining
  • workflows and data processes primarily in support of electronic legislative and regulatory
    code products.
  • The candidate will also work closely with other Data Analysts as well as members of the
  • Programming department in order to properly structure and implement critical data sets.


We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or Legal Studies. Juris Doctor is a plus.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulatory, legislative, judicial processes.
  • Experience in legal research, analysis, legal terminology and citation form is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, project management and research skills.
  • Prior experience in a data related position, or knowledge of XML or any similar mark-up language is a plus.
