Bloomberg Television, the global broadcaster dedicated to business, financial and markets news is looking to add an additional Producer to our growing european operation in order to help develop the expanding content we are developing. The position will be based in London

The successful candidate will oversee the daily production of news programming, produced from Bloomberg's European headquarters in London.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a lead person for creating and delivering a live program to air.
• Harness real-time data, graphics and video for maximum on air effect.
• Write compelling opens, news items, features and teases.
• Exercise fast and accurate news judgement in a breaking-news environment.
• Ensure the program's interests are served by the assignment desk and other support units of the business.
• Provide coaching and feedback for production staff and talent.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Television line producing experience in a live news environment.
• Strong production skills, including run-down design and management.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills particularly in the gallery/control room.
• Felxibility in shifts required.
• Knowledge of the economy, markets and business.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
