SSEOMS is Bloomberg's Sell Side Execution & Order Management System and is a rapidly growing area within our Trading Solutions business.

SSEOMS combines Market Access and Order Management that is integrated with the core Bloomberg Professional service to offer a robust and complete order management system. The customizable market access suite provides broker dealers with connectivity to exchanges as well as direct market access to Bloomberg's network of global brokers. SSEOMS clients include institutional broker dealers, research boutiques, agency only dealers, exchange members, proprietary trading desks, wholesalers and retail trading desks.

We are currently seeking Regional Manager candidates to manage our European sales operations.

The Regional Manager for EMEA will be responsible for building and leading the sales, account management, implementation and trade desk teams in the region, as well as conducting industry analysis on a periodic and topical basis.

Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Managing the sales performance of EMEA team.
  • Develop business plans and execute on strategic initiatives.
  • Increase revenues through new business sales and growth from existing accounts.
  • Regularly mentor and coach the sales team, be responsible for the sales performance, provide unique sales strategies to adapt to the complex sales process.
  • Develop research standards and ensures these standards are met.
  • Hands-on industry research, and publishing periodic reports.
  • Create and manage partnerships with both regional and global internal departments, as well as with key external market professionals to identify additional commercial opportunities and drive the product and business forward.
  • Create and manage strategic partnerships with 3rd party vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing diverse regional sales teams.
  • Proven experience within sell-side Equity and Derivatives markets, with a strong understanding of EMEA regional needs.
  • Strong client service and communication skills.
  • Previous knowledge of SSEOMS or other competitive OMS¿s and other electronic trading systems.
  • A self-starter, proactive team player with strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Attention to detail with proactive problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of connectivity in the equity and derivative markets (eg. Exchange, FIX, Back Office Protocols)
  • Proven staff management experience and team development skills.
  • Solid experience in performance management.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, and/ or equivalent work experience.
  • MBA or similar business qualifications desirable
  • Working knowledge of the Bloomberg Professional Service a plus.
