The Role:

The Email Production Specialist will support the Marketing Operations team to code and deploy email campaigns and related landing pages. This person will be mainly focused on coding HTML emails, and building templates using the Aprimo Marketing studio tool. This position will also require functional testing and ensuring emails are rendering properly across email clients/browsers.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for building email layouts and templates using HTML and inline CSS
  • Responsible for optimizing and testing emails to ensure deliverability and quality rendering across multiple email platforms and web browsers
  • Reviews project requests with the ability to assess optimal ways to execute based on best practices, marketing objectives and deadlines provided
  • Executes day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns
  • Troubleshoots technical issues related to HTML templates and other aspects of email execution, as required
  • Stays abreast of and recommends email coding best practices

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced knowledge in HTML and CSS programming specific for email campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript
  • Prior email development experience with major ESPs (e.g. Bronto, Eloqua, Omail, YesMail, ExactTarget, Cheetamail, etc.)
  • Expert in email deliverability and rendering across multiple email platforms and web browsers
  • Well-rounded technologist in email marketing with current knowledge of industry best practices, including mobile optimization techniques
  • Attention to detail and producing high quality work under firm deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Experience with implementing campaign tracking, reporting and relational databases a plus
  • Experience in Financial Services industry a plus
  • A bachelor's degree is required
  • This is a contract position
