The Role

A challenging and exciting opportunity exists within Networks to work in the fast paced world of Market Data Feeds. The Network Feed team is directly responsible for supporting the market data distribution and content delivery network to provide enterprise services, electronic trading and data feeds to financial enterprise customers worldwide. Team members provided a client facing managed service that includes the monitoring of customer applications, network hardware, firewalls, servers and software management. The successful candidate will be involved in all technical aspects from hands-on support to software driven network management and control. Their responsibilities will include network installation, maintenance and provide business support for various market data products and development.

Qualifications:

• Excellent trouble shooting, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to operate within a team environment and with various product developers
• Sound working knowledge of trading systems, electronic trading, Linux systems, firewalls, networking and associated equipment (routers, servers, and switches)
• CCNA, JNCIA, Linux, Checkpoint or equivalent engineering qualification required
• Flexibility and willingness to work off hours when the situation requires

In addition, the following skills would be desirable:

• Software programming, scripting and reporting
• Understanding of stock exchanges and financial institutions including financial instruments, data feeds, product entitlements, and data publication
• Strong business skills and product knowledge
