The Role:

Bloomberg Law R&D is looking for an experienced software test engineer to help expand our automated testing infrastructure. As a member of the Quality Assurance team, you will work directly with our lead test automation architect, as well as development team leads and other stakeholders, to design and implement automated solutions for our various testing needs. Responsibilities will include defining testing strategies, preparing relevant design and architecture documentation, implementing tools and processes to support various types and levels of testing, including unit, component, performance and load testing, and integrating these solutions with our continuous integration and release management tools.

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of test automation (Selenium, Robot Framework) experience in a UNIX/Linux environment
• Proficiency with OOP (Java or C++)
• Proficiency with SOA development (Java/Spring, XML/Json)
• Proficiency with web application development (Ruby on Rails, Rspec, Capybara)
• Proficiency with scripting (Shell or Python)
• Experience with test automation, test harness design, keyword and data-driven testing methodologies
• Strong knowledge of web and mobile testing technologies, protocols and tools
