Our site gets more video views than any other business news site in the world. We write, source and deliver the news and analysis that give our readers a vital business advantage.

Bloomberg Markets is seeking a senior correspondent in Hong Kong with a consistent track record in digital journalism and knowledge of markets.

Who we are looking for?

You're a journalist who has the ability to produce crystal clear copy on a wide variety of market topics and have the capacity to make quick decisions and produce fast turnarounds for both long and short pieces. As part of the APAC team, we expect you to be comfortable working in a small and convivial team, and able to edit junior writers' work to ensure accuracy and style.

You'll be expected to cooperate with colleagues across Bloomberg News to produce timely and innovative markets content. You will work closely with our digital team to help drive the growth of our online presence in the APAC region.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven digital journalism experience and sound news judgment
  • Previous financial markets or business journalism experience
  • Demonstrated breaking news management abilities
  • Experience working in a real-time news environment
  • A team player attitude

We'd love to see:

  • Previous experience in editing
