We’re building a 24/7 breaking news network with Twitter. As the Head of Live News Data, we’ll trust you to create and implement best practices for data analysis and reporting. You’ll identify growth opportunities for the network by following digital trends and consumer insights. You will boost engagement and conversions across all platforms by building A/B test plans. You know how to use data to tell compelling stories – to any audience at any level. You will establish KPIs, implement measurement tools, and illustrate metrics and data to key stakeholders. You’ll measure, track, and optimize audience development initiatives- such as creating data-driven growth plans across all content distribution platforms. You’ll drive the translation of real-time user data into the actionable insights. This is how we understand user behavior, and how we can continue to improve our product.

You’ll need to have:

• 7 or more experience in data and analytics, ideally in publishing/media space
• Deep understanding of online business models and strategies
• Hands-on experience with reporting and analysis tools, such as Omniture
• Familiarity with measurement services, such as comScore and Nielsen
• Ability to lead and grow an emerging team of data scientists and analysts
• Deep understanding of social platforms, video platforms, user behavior and best practices
• Ability to during complex, disparate data sets into actionable insights
• The attitude of a self-starter with analytical skills
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and execute them with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Desire and appreciation for being part of a growing team
• Editorial sensibility
• Passion for building new products
