Our Broadcast Production Assistant apprenticeship combines practical work experience with a useful qualification. The Role:

Bloomberg TV is seeking a Broadcast Production Assistant Apprentice to join the programme in London. You will contribute to our coverage of financial markets, companies, the economy and governments. This is an opportunity to work in a challenging, exciting and competitive, broadcast news environment. You will be working in a live TV news studio, working with broadcast equipment, writing scripts, editing video, researching stories and generally assisting producers and reporters. 

To be part of the team, you will need to show a passion for TV news and an interest in providing objective high quality business news.

Eligibility Criteria

• 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades D or above
• Learners must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject

Success Criteria

Successful candidates should possess:

• Innovative Problem Solving skills
• Passion for media and broadcast
• Technical aptitude 
• Ability to work calmly under pressure
• Excellent written communication skills
•  Strong organisation skills and an eye for detail
• Enthusiasm and commitment to TV and Journalism

Step 4: Final Interview: Meet with the Head of Department to discuss your motivations and potential. Show us you are the best person for the apprenticeship.
