These platforms are built for experts, and users often express a desire for solid, practical documentation to ensure they are getting the greatest benefit from integrating this technology into their workflows.

The Senior Technical Writer is a hands-on role that requires you to roll up your sleeves and work with customers, internal engineering leads and stakeholders at all levels to design, create and publish an optimum set of self-service documentation, content modules and 1-pagers educating end-users on the ins-and-outs of using our platforms.

Responsibilities

• Contribute written articles and craft a comprehensive body of reference documentation for different platform initiatives, both internal and external
• Analyze our platform offerings, identity gaps in documentation and manage/prioritize a dedicated documentation backlog
• Interview clients to understand how they learn and create a holistic learning strategy that encompassed different types of content (FAQs, knowledge base articles, tutorials)
• Review API documentation and ensure that it meets high quality standards
• Coordinate continent publication through various content management systems
• Work with internal teams to develop webinars or other special purpose training-related content

Experience

• Excellent skills in written English
• Ability to use Markdown, Git, and static site generators to craft documentation microsites
• Experience documenting APIs and other technical artifacts
• Experience working with Product and UX teams to triage, prioritize and deliver work
• Comfort interviewing customers to understand needs workflows
• Technical degree or relevant understanding of modern technology concepts
• (PLUS) familiarity with public cloud (AWS, GCP)
• (PLUS) familiarity with Kubernetes
