Bloomberg Intelligence ("BI") is looking for a U.S. structured product / mortgage backed security (MBS) strategist to complement its growing fixed income, currency & commodity research business. We are in the process of broadening globalizing our footprint, into adjacent asset classes and geographies.
 
The strategist will work closely with the U.S. rates team, and generate qualitative and quantitative insights on MBS and other structured product markets for Bloomberg’s global user base. Candidates should be strong communicators capable of engaging with clients and collaborating with colleagues across geographies.

REQUISITE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

•  A minimum of 5 years professional experience covering and / or trading the asset class
•  Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
•  Independent problem solver with an entrepreneurial mindset
•  Ability to develop professional and collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues
•  Familiarity with Bloomberg Barclays family of indices
•  Bachelor's Degree, with CFA designation or MBA preferred
•  In depth knowledge of the Bloomberg Terminal
