What's the role?

You will be responsible for forging deep and trusted relationships with our Sell-side clients, taking the time to understand their businesses, their pressures and concerns and the ins and outs of their workflow and technology. Armed with this Intel and your consultative approach, you will uncover opportunities for us to expand our partnerships whilst at the same time helping our clients drive their business forward. You’ll also keep your ears close to the ground and be up to date with the latest trends and business initiatives within your client base. Your relationship management skills and passion for excellence will ensure we maximize our business opportunities.

We’ll trust you to concentrate on the below 3 core focus areas:

Sales and Relationship Management:

  • Focus on utilising your product, market and workflow expertise to generate Terminal and Enterprise revenue
  • Manage client engagements with multiple stakeholders
  • Build relationships with C-suite executives and key decision makers

Product and Market Knowledge:

  • Understand our suite of solutions, our product road-maps, and how they fit within our clients needs, gaps, and workflows
  • Be a key partner to your clients through your in-depth knowledge of their business and your articulation of the key benefits of our products

Department Impact:

  • Contribute innovative ideas that anticipate and address client needs
  • Collaborate internally to implement and execute value-added solutions
  • Participates actively in new projects that drive departmental and organisational-wide initiatives and goals

You’ll need to have:

  • Client facing experience in Financial Services or a Financial Technology company in the past 5 years
  • Sell-side experience in or selling to major financial institutions
  • Consultative skills built in a sales or project management role
  • Ability to identify different buyer motivations across various client sectors and capitalise on them
  • Experience generating revenue through multiple complex enterprise sales engagements
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders both externally and internally
  • Hands on experience using the Bloomberg product suite
  • Strong presentation and communication skills in English
