Bloomberg News is looking for an experienced reporter to write about climate policy, the energy transition and ESG in Europe's most important economy. Based in Berlin, you'll break news on policy, Germany's energy companies and markets, operating at the intersection between business and government. How does Germany's new government meet some of the world's most ambitious emissions targets without undermining its industrial heartlands? You'll work closely with colleagues on the politics, business and markets teams, and be expected to produce scoops that move markets as well as magazine features and digital video.

We'll trust you to:

• Deliver exclusives that matter to Bloomberg terminal clients and a wider audience
• Build relationships with key decision-makers in government, industry and markets
• Generate compelling features
• Use a variety of platforms including the terminal, web, TV, video, Green magazine

You’ll need to have:

• Reporting experience
• Fluent German and English
• A track record of breaking news and cultivating sources
• Good writing skills; proven ability to collaborate
