Bloomberg News is now looking for an experienced journalist to join our team in Europe as a senior writer, focusing on the regional economy.

The writing and reporting role will require providing insight and analysis into the continent's key economic themes and helping to shape coverage across Bloomberg's terminal, print, radio, digital and television platforms. Collaboration with fellow journalists and economists in Europe and around the world will be essential.

With the European Central Bank eyeing the exit from its emergency stimulus programs, the euro-area economy the strongest since the creation of the single currency and the countdown to Brexit underway, this high-profile role offers the successful applicant the chance to chronicle one of the world's biggest financial stories.

You'll need to have:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience of economics coverage with proven ability to generate and deliver story ideas both at speed or at length, while working effectively with others to do so
• Experience of working in a real-time environment is an asset and fluency in any of the region's languages is an advantage
