Bloomberg News is looking for a versatile and experienced journalist to join our Venezuela bureau, covering politics, government and economic news. As a full-time contractor working from our Caracas office, you will be relied upon to break news on the country's constantly evolving politics while closely monitoring government announcements and contributing enterprise journalism. As a key member of a small newsroom that values exclusive news, you will be expected to develop dependable sources within political and business circles that will help keep Bloomberg News ahead of the competition.

You'll need to have:

  • At least three years of news writing experience, preferably including work for international news outlets
  • Experience covering Venezuelan politics
  •  

  • Fluent English
