Bloomberg News has grown into one of the world's largest and most influential news organisations since its inception in 1990. Bloomberg News stories are followed globally by government and industry leaders, including central banks, investment institutions, commercial banks and government agencies, as they make key financial decisions. Stories are transmitted to a global audience through the company's media platforms and the Bloomberg Professional service (or terminal), which reaches more than 325,000 financial professionals at the world's leading companies, financial institutions and government agencies across 174 countries.

As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience reporting and writing for our financial news service. You will get the opportunity to work with our journalists around the world, contributing to coverage of financial markets, companies, economies and government. You will produce your stories under real-time deadline pressure. This is a paid 10-week program in Dubai and you will join us on September 10th!

You need to have:

A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
An interest in financial markets, companies and economies
Prior reporting experience
An ability to work within a team under deadline pressure
Fluency in English and Arabic
Availability to work for 10 weeks beginning on September 10th
