As a Sales Account Manager in Dubai you will forge deep and trusted relationships with our clients, taking the time to understand their businesses, their pressures and concerns and the ins and outs of their workflow and technology. You will be tasked in helping expand our business in the Middle East, which would include working in markets such as: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, UAE and Bahrain. This is a region we have seen incredible growth, and continue to be optimistic on our opportunities to grow the terminal franchise. Our clients have complex needs, and therefore demand a lot from our products. These are all multi-asset class markets, with good exposure to the developed world economies due to the investment activities of the sovereign wealth funds.

You’ll also keep your ears close to the ground, up to date with the latest trends and business initiatives within your client base. You’ll show your clients mind blowing product enhancements, whilst taking satisfaction from ensuring clients are getting maximum value from the Terminal, an indispensable piece of their daily workflow.
Your skill and passion will ensure we maximise on opportunities to expand our presence and mitigate risks to our revenue. Your ultimate goal will be to defend our existing business and support the sales process to insure future growth.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Establish and foster credibility with our clients by constantly improving your knowledge of the Bloomberg product offering, and market practises. Product enhancements should in turn be positioned to the appropriate clients.
  • Be able to describe, differentiate and position the value of all of our offerings
  • Anticipate client needs, build relationships, and adapt your approach to the ever evolving business landscape
  • Strategically look across your client base to determine gaps in client’s workflow and increase their demand on our products
  • Influence the evolution of the Bloomberg product by communicating client needs and feedback to the relevant internal team
  • Maintain our existing business and increase usage/adoption across client accounts
  • Collaborate with specialised sales teams to promote and achieve firm wide targets, whilst expanding our community

You’ll need to have:

  • The ability to correlate our various client types and their operational workflows with the appropriate Terminal based solutions
  • Actively used the Bloomberg terminal in a previous role
  • Experience in a customer facing role within the Financial Markets industry
  • The ability to present the value of applications and specific functionality through product demonstrations
  • A demonstrable ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
  • Aptitude for identifying and capitalising on different buyer motivations across various client sectors
  • A desire to travel frequently

We’d love to see:

  • At least business fluency in Arabic
