We’ll trust you to:

 

• Lead the execution and delivery of all Bloomberg Data Management Services (BDMS) on-boarding programmes/projects both internally and externally in accordance with the contracted service
• Own the overall vision of the BDMS service to be provided
• Be responsible for full life cycle of programmes/projects from initiation to completion
• Be responsible for the definition of the tasks/activities and the approach to the delivery
• Ensure the required allocation of resources, skills and expertise is secured
• Establish and maintain the appropriate programme/project governance structure and effective communication processes
• Maintain robust programme documentation and reporting
• Follow the appropriate programme/project management framework that is in place, completing all necessary reporting, control and escalation mechanisms
• Manage programme/project issues, risks, dependencies and change control within agreed processes to ensure delivery of programme results within the agreed programme scope
• Transparent reporting on all risk, issues and mitigating actions
• Plan the programme/project and monitor its overall progress, initiating corrective action as appropriate and escalating issues as necessary
• Drive discovery workshops (where required), facilitate large audience discussions and present solutions
• Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders to the programme/project
• Establish an effective relationship with all relevant participants to coordinate delivery of the solution(s)
• Ensure that all decisions are made with a customer focused lens while maintaining BDMS policies and business strategy
• Be the main point of contact for the Client and act as the point for escalation
• Positive and proactive participation within the team and active collaboration with colleagues
• Integration with other Bloomberg services and divisions in order to deliver the complete solution to the Client
• Ensure that business readiness preparation is complete to ensure successful transitioning to live customer usage and support

You’ll need to have:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related Project Management discipline or equivalent
• Extensive experience as a Programme/Project Manager (c.10+ years) of delivering large integration projects in a Client facing environment
• Strong technology background (i.e. technically literate) with significant business experience within the Financial Services Asset Management/Capital Markets sectors
• Experience of delivering technical and business projects and solutions in the financial services sector
• Knowledge of Vendor Reference Data and Pricing Feeds (e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv, IDC, Markit, S&P, Fitch, Moody's etc.)
• Strong presentation and confirmed customer-facing skills
• Demonstrable ability to deliver in a challenging, complex and diverse environment
• Excellent negotiation, influence, mediation and conflict management skills
• Ability to work in a process-driven high demand environment
• Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous activities across different business activities.
• Can effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with different audiences
