As part of our FICC strategy effort, corporate credit, rates and currency coverage is being built out in Asia, to complement our existing U.S. and EMEA footprint. Our work gives trading and investment professionals’ deep insight into where crucial industries stand today and where they may be heading next.

What’s the Role?

We are actively seeking a Senior Corporate Credit Strategist to cover the Asia Pacific market, with a particular focus on China and Northeast Asia. You will be tasked with further globalizing BI’s growing fixed income, currency & commodity research business.
You will generate and publish qualitative and quantitative insights on the state of regional corporate credit for our global user base whilst working with single-name analysts and our global strategy team. We would expect you to have strong communication skills and be capable of engaging with clients and collaborating with colleagues across geographies.

You’ll need to have:

• A minimum of 5 years professional experience covering Northeast Asia credit markets
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Independent thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability to develop professional and collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues
• Bachelor's Degree, with CFA designation or MBA preferred
• Strong knowledge of the Bloomberg Terminal
• Ability to speak mandarin preferred but not required
