The team is looking for an experienced Business Development professional to join our Greater China Commercial Team in Hong Kong as a Business Development Manager. You will be responsible for growing our business within the Greater China region. Together with the growing team, this role will include new business sales and managing key clients.

You will focus on selling subscription services whilst playing a critical role in supporting the strategic business planning and brand building in the territory. You will also be responsible for coordinating applied research sales and key client events. You will be an integral part of BNEF's growth plans for Greater China. This is an exciting opportunity to join a world leading company and be at the forefront of the industry.

We'll trust you to:- Generate and close sales of BNEF services in Greater China

• Research and Execute sales plans and strategies
• Manage, renew, and grow revenue from individual book of business
• Work on strategic development of key client relationships
• Provide constructive feedback to product and analysis teams regarding client needs
• Manage proposals and contracts
• Maintain a knowledge of key trends in the global energy sector

You'll need to have:- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin

• Bachelor's Degree or above
• A strong interest in renewables and/or energy
• A proven sales experiences on selling to large corporations, financial institutions and technology companies.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Motivation toward individual as well as team performance

• Flexibility and capability to deal with a wide range of responsibilities
• Experience with the Bloomberg Terminal
