As a Sales Account Manager you will forge deep and trusted relationships with our clients, taking the time to understand their businesses, their pressures and concerns, and the ins and outs of their workflow and technology. You will be tasked with defending our existing terminal base, demonstrating the value of our product to clients and increasing usage and adoption of products across the terminal. You will uncover opportunities for us to expand our partnerships whilst at the same time increasing our clients overall operating efficiency.

You’ll also keep your ears close to the ground, up to date with the latest trends and business initiatives within your client base. Your skill and passion in KYC will ensure we maximise on opportunity and mitigate risks to our revenue.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Defend the existing terminal base and increase usage/adoption across client accounts
  • Collaborate with specialised sales teams to promote and achieve firm wide targets
  • Establish and foster credibility with our clients by constantly improving your knowledge of the Bloomberg product offering
  • Be able to describe, differentiate and position the value of all of our offerings
  • Anticipate client needs, build relationships, and adapt your sales approach

You’ll need to have:

  • Ability to correlate our various client types and their operational workflows with the appropriate Terminal based solutions
  • Comfort with presenting the value of applications and specific functionality, through product demonstrations
  • Ability to identify and capitalise different buyer motivations across various client sectors
  • Experience in building and maintaining client relationships both externally and internally
  • Excellent communication skills in English and either Cantonese OR Mandarin
