What’s the Role:

We have an exciting new position available for you to join our team of motivated, financially astute and commercial relationship/account managers in Hong Kong to grow our business in Korea.

You will join a well-established and high selling team whilst being responsible for representing the suite of Bloomberg Professional solutions to both new and existing clients, including Global and Asian Institutions. In return we will provide you training on both our technology and market knowledge; we take a pride in educating our staff so that they can add more value to our customers via a true consultative process.

We’ll trust in the role you will:

  • Pursue opportunities with a sense of urgency and resilience
  • Establish relationships with clients and key decisions makers.
  • Continuously build on your understanding of the Korean Market to identify new opportunities and threats.
  • Use your experience to develop a business plan and execute strategies to sell terminals, generate revenue and deepen usage to protect your existing business.
  • Collaborate with ancillary groups across financial products regularly, to hone your plan and ensure Bloomberg is aligned in their approach

You will need to have:

  • A consultative, inquisitive approach
  • A track record of building and maintaining positive relationships at a user, desk or senior level
  • A strong interest in the financial markets and technology
  • An interest in learning new product areas, and using this knowledge to drive client impact.

We’d love to see:

  • Business fluency in Korean
  • Prior Korean client experience, with knowledge of ancillary products relevant to our Korean clients
  • Passion and enthusiasm for selling Bloomberg and developing people around you to sell.

Product Knowledge:

  • A deep understanding of one or more asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Commodities and Derivatives
  • A dedication to maintain and improve knowledge of the Bloomberg system, which constantly evolves as new data and analytical tools are added
