Our endless selection of datasets, covering all asset types, with multiple delivery technologies and flexible scheduling mean our clients are able to get exactly the data they need, when they need it, in the format they prefer. Without us, they simply can’t operate.
What's the role?
You are an experienced professional with in-depth product knowledge, sales ability and will be joining a fast-growing specialized area of Bloomberg focused on offering premium regulatory solutions and reference data content to our client base.

You will work very closely with the full spectrum of external clients, as well as with internal sales teams to win strategic deals. The role is based in Singapore or Hong Kong with responsibility for leading and driving our sales strategies, relationships as well as influencing our product development for APAC.

This is an exciting opportunity requires a deep understanding of the current regulatory and accounting landscape, in particular FRTB, Libor Transition, IFRS (9, 13 & 17), Uncleared Margin Rules and Liquidity Risk Management frameworks across APAC to assist in fast-growing our client base.

We'll trust you to:

  • Be responsible for sales of the suite of solutions under Regulatory, Accounting, Liquidity and Reference Data for the APAC region
  • Consult and educate clients on unique solutions
  • Develop and manage relationships with regulators in the APAC region
  • Expand the knowledge of our sales force through internal training
  • Speak at seminars and conferences in APAC
  • Influence the direction of our services by providing feedback to Bloomberg's Product Managers

You'll need to have:

  • Minimum 5-7 years experience selling complex financial solutions and products to the financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge of the global and local regulations and their impact on financial clients workflow at the country level
  • Deep understanding of capital markets, analytics and pricing models across different asset classes. Experience with fixed income and derivatives a plus
  • Exemplary presentation, training and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Master degree (with additional CPA or CFA a plus)
