Bloomberg's Supply Chain business is a dynamic global organization, providing support to our terminal internal and external customers through Distribution & Asset Management, Procurement, and Print Services, operating out of 22 locations across 12 countries. For example, if a trader's keyboard breaks, our department is responsible to swap the malfunctioning product with a new one as fast as possible - in our major cities this is less than 2 hours - with minimal disruption to their business. We pride ourselves on being subject matter authorities. Our Distribution & Asset Management Team handle the full hardware product life-cycle from forecasting and planning, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, international trade compliance, and quality control. Additionally, we host our own print shops, based in Princeton, London and Hong Kong, servicing our internal businesses globally from printing marketing signage to notebooks and business cards in multiple languages. Our Global Procurement team runs all activities and workflows to procure hardware, software, consulting services and much more for internal lines of business to achieve the maximum value to Bloomberg while also leading supplier contract management and risk controls. Under one umbrella we work together to develop efficient solutions through new technologies and processes to keep up with Bloomberg's dynamic environment and business needs while ensuring the highest level of customer service.

What's the role?

The Asset Management team is responsible for demand planning, supply planning, distribution planning, maintenance of inventory controls and audits, and procedures to monitor and verify inventory levels globally. We are seeking an energetic, innovative individual to join our Asset Verification team, whose main responsibilities include: maintaining accurate inventory records at internal (and external) customer locations throughout the APAC region, monitoring equipment records to close out open issues via our internal ticketing system, creating stock transport orders for unplanned materials, and special projects. The ideal candidate must be able to administer policies and guidelines which affect work activities, demonstrate and promote continual improvements in material movements, controls and customer return order processing and billing, be able to handle a significant number of tickets and tasks assigned to them, and be able to intellectually challenge self and others.

You'll need to be able to or have:

• Be able to reconcile our hardware at customer accounts, and maintain accurate data records.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and documentation skills.
• Deep understanding of Bloomberg's order management process and equipment history.
• Strong social skills with the emphasis on maintaining good working relationships with business partners.
• Demonstrate aptitude to run projects and deadlines, as well as lead project teams if required.
• SAP R/3 and MS Office experience is required.

We'd love to see:

• Extensive experience in Inventory Cycle Count management
• Experience in Supply Planning using SAP would be beneficial
• Ability to analyse problems, invent solutions and multi-task with attention to detail.
• MCIPS (Member of /studying towards qualification with Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Chain) or related Supply Chain qualifications, are also preferred.
