We are looking for an experienced live TV news producer, writer and copy editor for our Asia headquarters, based in Hong Kong.

You will report to the Asia Executive Producer and work on teams putting together eight hours of live weekday shows from across Asia and the Middle East.

You'll take on the serious responsibility of approving our content for air on the basis of style, legality and taste.

You must have demonstrated skills and ability in TV news production including writing, copy editing and graphics, as well as being comfortable with the control room environment, able to output live shows and handle the pressure of breaking news.

Knowledge of the region's business environment and financial markets would be an advantage. Experience in field work or long-form programmes would also be a plus.

You'll need to have:

  • Proven English TV writing and copy editing skills
  • 5+ years or more of TV production/journalism experience
  • Experience in gallery output of live news
  • Experience producing graphics for TV
  • Knowledge of business and the Asian region
